Biography of the Speaker: Carla Parvin
A "failed" retiree, Carla Parvin has never been one to sit still. She & her husband of 50 years started researching the viability of investing in spec homes six years ago & found they enjoyed it! They have been successful as they built & flipped stick-built homes, modular homes & a modular duplex. They also own rental property.
Having owned their homes from year one of their marriage & built two homes from scratch, they were familiar with the process of building a home, but in 2020, building a stick-built home became much more expensive!

In February of 2020, Carla joined Carolinas REIA in Asheville, NC. She saw the value of the REIA & joined the Board of Directors the next year. She held the Vice President position for two years, then served as President for 2023.
Now, as the sales representative for Virginia Homes of Boydton, Carla is here for you as you learn about the viability of the modular home option to build your next home or duplex.
