As the founder of J&M Business Capital, Jerry brings 25 years of banking and financial services experience to servicing his clients.

A graduate of Western Illinois University, majoring in Finance, Jerry immediately went into banking. He has held every front office position from personal Banker, Branch Manager, Multi-Branch Manager, Community Banking Manger, to Regional Retail Manager and Commercial Lender. He started his tenure in Commercial Banking in 2005 and has 15 years of exposure in business lending with experience in Commercial Real Estate (owner and non-owner occupied), Medical, Manufacturing, Leverage Buyouts, Business Acquisition, SBA 7(a), SBA 504 loans, and USDA Business and Industry loan programs.

He spent 3 years as the COO of a Not For Profit CDC that administered the SBA 504 loan program where he personally piloted and ultimately brought online alternative financing products and services through key relationships that enabled the CDC to service loan customers who wouldn’t otherwise qualify for financing under bank or SBA 504 lending guidelines.

At J&M Business Capital, we pride ourselves on sourcing debt financing through both institutional capital markets, and private alternative sources. Our current focus is on new project financing, mixed use real-estate development projects, SBA Lending for business expansions, investment real estate financing for SFR and larger multi-family investors. We can provide access to non-recourse lending programs, flexible underwriting standards, creative loan structures, and fast execution. We are also adept at assisting our clients in the pursuit of Credit Enhancement Agreements with local governing bodies, the use of New Market Tax Credits, and Historical Tax Credits when applicable.

So why are we different than the rest?  Unlike many brokers that connect a "lender of the month" then disappear, we become an extended function of your office.  We concentrate our time to constructing your project presentation, executive summary, financial analysis and then targeting the lenders that will compete for your project. Our work minimizes redundancy and time to close as our lenders know we introduce solid deals that fit their criteria.  We become your partner through to the close.
